Our main guideline is "Please Don't Touch The Monkey" (Dilarang Memegang Monyet). You are welcome to feed them peanuts/bananas and take photos, but please avoid grabbing, pulling, or touching them directly. Our staff will assist you with close-up selfies.

The official location permit for Photo Prewedding is IDR 200,000 for domestic / local couples and IDR 500,000 for foreign couples. Video Shooting permits are IDR 500K (local) / 1000K (foreigner), and Cinematography is IDR 1500K (local) / 2500K (foreigner).

Sangeh is the only 13.91-hectare homogeneous Nutmeg Tree forest (*Dipterocarpus Trinervis*) in Bali, featuring trees that are hundreds of years old. It houses the 17th-century Pucak Bukit Sari Temple built by Puri Mengwi, the unique Lanang Wadon tree, and the sacred Taman Mumbul spring lake.

Sangeh is conveniently located in Abiansemal, Badung Regency. It is approximately 30 minutes drive north of Ubud, 45 minutes from Denpasar/Sanur, and 1 hour from Seminyak/Canggu with direct paved road access and ample car parking.
